The Parent-Teacher Association spearheaded this academic year’s grand family gathering dubbed "ONE FAMILY, ONE ATENEO" last November 26, 2011.

With the students’ family members coming together to have fun, the day started with a community mass celebrated by the school chaplain, Fr. Ruben Reyes SJ. It was followed by a parenting seminar exclusive for participating mothers and fathers of students. At the same time, movies with inspiring themes were opened for free viewing for students in the all the audio-visual rooms of the high school.

By mid-day students and parents went to their respective rooms for lunch and short programs prepared by the students. Programs prepared by the students included games to put a bond between parents and students. Most programs included token giving for parents.

After the noontime activities, everybody assembled in the Covered Courts to witness the long awaited performances by the students, parents, and selected teachers. The afternoon program commenced with a battery of song-and-dance performances by selected students from all year levels. To the amazement of parents, the student performers rendered in songs and dances the favorites in the 60’s and 70’s.

The second half of the program was hosted by the group Pork Barrel. They introduced the parent-performers from all the year levels and winners in the raffle by the PTA. Each year level had their respective representatives. During the program, the PTA gave away prizes such as mountain bikes, special tumblers, Ateneo jackets, restaurant gift certificates and many others.

All in all, the event was a success, and everyone is looking forward for next years'.
