“Incoming freshmen continue to enlist even if the academic year has already started,” Mr. Brizuela reveals. He further adds, “The number of first year enrollees exceeds the projected number of the learning groups to be completed.”
The present total number of 486 shall make 12 learning groups. It would be noted that the University Treasurer and the High School Admissions Director earlier projected a 10-section first year group, maintaining the previous year’s number.
“The increase in number could be attributed to the high school’s aggressive drive which not only utilizes classroom campaigns in schools by volunteer teachers and the Admissions director but also the information drive in the trimedia (radio, television and print),” Mr. Brizuela further clarifies.
“The continuous rise in the number is a manifestation of trust in the school’s role in the formation of young minds in the Bicol Region,” he concludes. |
