Tatel KAAKBAY CLUB, which was brought up by Mr. Gerry Brizuela of the Office Admission and Aid and and the members of the Admission Committee, is an organization exclusive for Atenean High School scholars with Mrs. Melanie Orquita as its moderator which was just formed this school year because of the scholarship concerns that emerge during the yearly evaluation of the school."Many students in our school are scholars and with the big number, a particular structure has to be formed for guiding and monitoring our scholars so that they would be able to meet annually the scholarship requirements," stated Mrs. Orquita as she explained the need to form the Kaakbay Club.
Atenean scholars are to be monitored in their academic and non-academic deportment and are to be encouraged in doing well in their academic performances, as these are the objectives of the club itself. Members of the newly formed club will be benefited through the various activities and programs that will be implemented, like the activities in store for the organization such as leadership trainings that could improve their leadership skills that will be beneficial to their immediate community, talks on various topics based on the needs of each member, outreach activities and other seminars. |
