Science is magic, magic is scienceMagic! Magic! The Chemistry Society and the Physics Club joined forces to make the magic show a success on October 8, 2010 at the High School Covered Courts.

The magic show is one of the highlights in the celebration of the Science Week. Students from the Chemistry Society and Physics Club performed some tricks that allowed the juniors and the seniors to chatter in amazement.

1The show started at about 4:30PM. The show started with a fire dance of the pair of juniors to the tune of the “Eye of the Tiger.” Also, the audience was happy seeing chemicals and solutions change to unexpected colors.

The Physics Club members wowed the audience with their “balloons on fire.” And making the performance highly interactive, the performers asked for student volunteers from the audience.

The magic show showcased the knowledge of the Ateneans as they elucidated every after performance the explanation on the trick. The show left an impact to the students not only because performers excelled but because they were able to share precious knowledge.
