-The Science Camp 2010 was successfully held on October 8 to 9 at he Ateneo Pacol Campus grounds. The activity was connected with the celebration of Science Week centering on the theme, “Filipinnovation the Way Forward.”

Scientifically gifted students were chosen to participate in the event. They were then divided into ten groups battling for championship.

1The camp started in the evening of October 8 with an orientation. Preparations for the chant and cheer competition, flag-making and team name contest started right after. After the preparations, the camp fire started. The chant and cheer was held and fascinating performances were done by the ten groups. A funny and hilarious play was held by the teachers of the Science Department. “Balot the Movie” was shown after the performances.

Early in the morning, a morning prayer was conducted. The morning cooking contest was held. After feasting on what they prepared, the participants had their tree planting. At 10 in the morning, the students had the t-shirt printing while other participants started preparing for the next activity which was the afternoon cooking contest. The Amazing Race followed shortly.

The event was closed with a short program with the awarding of winners. Group 8 was hailed winner of the two-day camp.
