INSIDE: NOSTALGIA Having filled most of our school hours and undoubtedly the most useful, our multifarious classroom activities are certainly the most memorable. THROUGH THE YEARS It’s a fact: the mere mention of Ateneo is disturbing. Like the head and the tail of a coin, the Ateneo is either a dreaded stigma or a pronounced awe.

SUM OF ALL FEARS The pre-Bantay Bata years in the Ateneo made student life colorful. Despite the harshness of the punishments, Ateneans find them entertaining - even declaring them essential to the passage to manhood. OUR FATHER IN ATENEO In their mission to proclaim the Gospel, the Jesuits in the Ateneo have made an impact to the student’s lives. Their ideals and examples resonate among the alumni and the latter’s influence in the region. THE TORMENTORS In my stay at the Ateneo, I have met and witnessed different species of teachers. They make or break students’ life. NOSTALGIA For the former high school boys now working in the high school, their memories and formation is what they bequeth to the current generation of Ateneans. FROM ISAROG TO SAMURAI LAND My luck paid off when I was selected as one of the ten students who are off to plunge into Japanese way of life and educational system for the annual Ateneo de Naga-Hiroshima Gakuin Mutual Exchange Program. HEYDAY AWAY Excellence is indeed a choice. In the passing of time, what used to be distinctively Ateneo, are shared by others. What used to be the source of pride, are now wellsprings of disappointment. We are left behind. Before, Ateneo used to fly high with these: fields: Basketball, Dramatics and Military Parade. THE FRATS Fraternities could not have been formed without the strongly motivated members. These members have a cause why they join such an organization.
