In the second Eucharistic celebration since the year 2012 started, the Ateneo de Naga community presented collected financial aid and offered prayers to the victims of Typhoon Sendong in the cities of Iligan and Cagayan de Oro in Mindanao. The mass was held on January 10, 2012 at the Covered Courts. 7:30 in the morning.

The fund was collected from all the learning groups days before the Eucharistic celebration.

In the mass, the collected contributions were symbolically presented in the Offertory by the class presidents of each learning group.

Rev. Fr. Ruben Reyes, School Chaplain, was the main celebrant in the mass. In his homily, he shared his experiences in Xavier University (Ateneo de Cagayan) as his previous assignment before coming to Naga. Furthermore, he delivered his exhortation on some fascinating ideas on the Gospel of the day and the hopes for the recovery of the victims of the unexpected typhoon in Mindanao.
